Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 September 2026
In plain words
- You may use OmniDress on your own Apple devices. You may not resell it, take it apart, or use it to break the law.
- The free version holds up to 30 garments. OmniDress Extra removes that limit for a monthly or yearly fee billed by Apple, and renews until you cancel.
- The names, categories and product-style images the app generates are an AI’s best guess, not a record. Check them.
- Your wardrobe is stored only on your phone. Deleting the app deletes it, permanently. We hold no copy and cannot restore it.
1. This agreement
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and Mykyta Yankov, an individual developer trading as OmniDress (“OmniDress”, “we”, “us”), covering the OmniDress iPhone app, this website, and anything we offer through them (the “App”). By downloading or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of this agreement.
2. Who may use the App
You must be at least 13 years old — or at least 16 if you live in a country of the EEA that sets the age of digital consent at 16 — and you must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
3. Your licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple’s App Store Terms of Service. This licence is for your own use. It gives you no ownership of the App, and everything not expressly granted is reserved to us.
You agree not to:
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense or otherwise distribute the App or access to it;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, or try to derive its source code, except to the narrow extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction;
- circumvent the free-tier limit, the subscription check or any other technical restriction, or access our AI provider through the App by any means other than ordinary use of the App;
- use automated means to interact with the App at a volume or rate that a person would not, or otherwise place an unreasonable load on the services the App depends on;
- use the App to process images you have no right to use, or for any unlawful purpose.
4. Your photos and your wardrobe
You keep every right you already have in the photos you scan and the wardrobe you build. We claim no ownership of them and we acquire no licence to use them beyond what is technically required to run the features you ask for — described concretely in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for what you scan. By using the App you confirm that:
- you own the photos you use, or otherwise have the right to use them; and
- if a photo shows another identifiable person, that person has agreed to it being used this way — including being sent to our AI provider for processing.
Keep your own backups. Your wardrobe is stored on your device and nowhere else. It is lost if you delete the App, erase your device, or lose it, and we cannot recover it for you.
5. AI-generated suggestions
OmniDress uses third-party AI models to find garments in a photo, propose names, categories, colours and warmth, and redraw a garment as a clean product-style image. You should understand three things about that output:
- It can simply be wrong. Tags are proposals. You can edit every one of them, and you should check them before relying on them.
- Redrawn images are an interpretation, not a photograph. The model idealises: it may complete a hem, a sleeve or a detail that the original photo did not show. A generated image is a flattering likeness of your garment, not evidence of what it looks like. Do not use it to describe an item for sale, for insurance, or anywhere else its accuracy would matter.
- Outfit and weather suggestions are suggestions. Forecast data comes from a third party, may be wrong or stale, and is not a safety service. Use your own judgement about what to wear.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make on the basis of AI-generated tags, images or recommendations.
6. OmniDress Extra and billing
The App is free to download and includes a free tier that holds up to 30 garments. Going beyond that limit requires an OmniDress Extra subscription, offered as a monthly or a yearly plan. Current prices are shown in the App before you buy and may vary by country.
- Apple bills you. Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation of purchase. We never receive your payment details.
- It renews automatically. Your subscription renews for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You cancel through Apple. Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your device, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues to the end of the period you already paid for.
- Free trials, if offered. Where a plan includes a free trial, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, your statutory rights — including the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, subject to the exceptions for digital content that you have begun to use — are unaffected by this paragraph and are exercised through Apple.
- Price changes. If we change the price of a plan, the new price applies from your next renewal. Apple will ask for your consent where its rules require it, and you may cancel before the change takes effect.
- Restoring a purchase. Use “Restore purchases” in the App to re-establish an existing subscription on a device signed in to the same Apple Account.
7. Changes, availability and third-party services
We may change, add or withdraw features, and we may stop offering the App altogether. If we withdraw a paid feature you are actively subscribed to, we will tell you and — where Apple’s rules allow — help you obtain an appropriate refund through Apple.
The App depends on services we do not control, including Apple’s App Store and WeatherKit, Google’s Gemini API, RevenueCat and Amplitude. We do not guarantee that the App will be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and interruptions in those services may make features temporarily unavailable. Where a feature degrades — for example, when garment recognition cannot reach Google — the App is designed to let you continue manually.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms — in particular the restrictions in section 3 — or where we must do so to comply with the law. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will warn you first. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do survive it, including sections 9 to 13.
9. No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, that its output will be accurate, or that defects will be corrected.
If you are a consumer, this section does not exclude or limit any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law, including the statutory guarantee that digital content conforms to what was described to you. Those rights apply regardless of anything in these Terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for loss of profits, revenue or goodwill, or for loss or corruption of data — including the loss of your wardrobe.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 50 EUR.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for wilful misconduct.
11. Your responsibility to us
If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used the App — for example, because you scanned photographs you had no right to use — you agree to indemnify us against the reasonable costs and damages that result, except to the extent the claim arises from our own breach or negligence.
12. Apple’s terms
The following applies because you obtained the App from the App Store, and it is required by Apple.
- Apple is not a party. These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and its content.
- Scope of licence. The licence in section 3 is limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service.
- Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for any maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to furnish either.
- Warranty. We are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed. If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App to you (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it — including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims that the App infringes its intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third-party terms. You agree to comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, on your acceptance of them, have the right to enforce them against you.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be heard by the competent courts of Ukraine.
If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, the United Kingdom or another country whose law protects you here, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Consumers in the EU may use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform, though we would rather you wrote to us first and gave us a chance to fix it.
14. General
We may update these Terms as the App changes. The date at the top shows the current version; where a change materially affects your rights, we will make it visible in the App rather than relying on you to re-read this page. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to a successor who assumes our obligations, without reducing your rights.
